Norm Brown, Certified Marketing Manager for Norburn Lighting and Bath Centre, presented one of the most informative and educational seminars this Chapter has ever had! From lighting for the “over 50″ and the colour of light to lighting artwork and walls, Norm touched on every aspect of residential lighting that you would ever need to know. He walked us through Norburn’s new ”Lighting Lab” that had every conceivable light fixture in place for viewing and comparing. A must see!!

FONTILE KITCHEN AND BATH

Tori Wilson is the Kitchen and Bath Manager/Designer at Fontile and presented an overview of their design and installation process along with production insights, cabinet construction and finishes. Tori also discussed how they work with designers and decorators to create custom kitchens and baths.

Annual General Meeting May 4, 2012
Our Annual General Meeting was held at the University Golf Club (near UBC) on Friday, May 4, 2012. Showcasing our Members and Round Table Discussions was the theme.
A beautiful gourmet lunch was provided and the agenda included voting for Executive positions, an overview of the past year’s accomplishments, members presenting their projects and round table discussions.
A video of the National Award Winners was shown. Did you know that 5 Winners were from the BC Chapter? Congratulations to all our BC Winners!

Crown Wallpaper – March 27, 2012
Crown Wallpaper presented wallpaper brands like “Candice Olsen”, “Studio 465″, “Phillip Jefferies” and more! We were shown a beautiful array of wallpaper and fabric that would work for any design or project! Colour and application trends were discussed and guest speaker, Keith Hull, spoke to us about current applications and what we needed to know before buying wallpaper! A fantastic seminar!
